Our Summer Routine
- Walks before 7 AM or after 7 PM — never midday
- Carry water on every outing
- Cooling mats and shaded rest areas
- Never leave in a car — not even for a minute
- Limit outdoor time when temps exceed 95°F

- Cool (not cold) water on paw pads and belly
- Cooling vests for necessary outdoor time
- Air conditioning is non-negotiable indoors
- Frozen treats — frozen broth or yogurt popsicles
